Likewise, fan-favorite Neji blocked Hinata while she shielded Naruto from an attack, protecting them so they could keep fighting.
It was a blow for fans who had already watched Ino and Shikamaru lose their beloved teacher. In it, Shikaku and Inoichi were unable to thwart an incoming attack, leaving the two of them to mentally reach out, using Inoichi’s power, to their children to say goodbye. It featured deaths for three characters that they’d gotten to know as the Fourth Shinobi World War raged on. This particular episode was an emotional one for Naruto fans.
